The Charter Ceremony of the Inner Wheel Club of Ottawa—in District 707—took place on May 4, 2014, hosted by our Founder, Rima Kawar. Our team of members come together in friendship and fun to take part in a wide range of work for charities and good causes across Canada's capital region.

Our Key Objectives
     • To Promote Friendship.
     • To Encourage the Ideals of Personal Service.
     • To Foster International Understanding.
Members achieve these aims through Club events, which combine personal service, fund-raising, fellowship and fun, united by friendship and a common aim to serve the local community.
Any woman who shares the three central aims of International Inner Wheel can join this organization!

 Club Activities & Events
Our Club members meet on the first Wednesday of each month and plan for different monthly activities that strengthen friendship and enable raising funds for the yearly project—chosen and decided upon by all members. The highlight of the year’s event is our Gala Night in June—an enjoyable night with lots of entertainment and fun! Members and the community come together to enjoy this event and raise funds for a great cause. At the end of June, we celebrate the presentation of the big cheque for our chosen yearly project. This is where we finally commemorate the handover / takeover of our new Executive Club Committee for the coming year.
